"Everything But The Kitchen Sink" - Colonial Cafe Ice Cream

Hello friends! Welcome back to Campus Meets Community.
This weekend I was blessed with beautiful 55 degree weather in FEBRUARY.
Growing up in the Midwest, the days of gorgeous, out-of-the-blue warm weather are not taken lightly. As soon as the temperature rises into the forties, I break out the sandals.
On Saturday morning, I decided to take full advantage of the sunshine and invest in a little bit of ice cream. But then I thought, "Wait...just a little bit of ice cream?" No way.
Seeing as weather changes are so random in Northern Illinois, I could NOT deprive myself of a substantial treat. I mean, who knows when we would have another winter day this glorious?
With this idea in mind, I ambitiously purchased my very first "Colonial Kitchen Sink," which my friends value as a coveted Aurora delicacy. I even have the bumper sticker to prove it. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
